Trisha Rhea has been a practicing nursing for over 20 years and is Board Certified in Emergency Nursing. She has an extensive background in emergency medicine, Ultrasound, IV Team Nurse and Critical Care Emergency Transport. In her spare time, Trisha is also the owner of Mommies Munchies an innovative cookie company based in Orlando, Florida.

Josh is a motivational speaker and seminar specialist with over 10 years of paramedic experience.  Joshua obtained his BS in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and his MPA from Columbia Southern University.  Additionally, Joshua formally worked as an Engineer/Paramedic with the City of Orlando Fire Department.  To fine tune his muscle memory and stay current with innovative medical technology, Joshua competes every year alongside Owner Carlos Tavarez in over 10 Critical Care Advanced Life Support challenges all over the country. Josh enjoys spending time in solitude, as far away from modern civilization as possible.  His property is littered with surveilance and highly trained attack dobermans. 


Robbie Tester, EMT-P, FP-C

Vice President of Education

Robbie is an outstanding instructor with over 12 years of EMS and flight medicine experience. Robbie received his BS in criminology from Florida State University and his Critical Care Paramedic Certification from the University of Florida.  Additionally, Robbie previously held the position of Firefighter/Paramedic with Marion County Fire Rescue for over 10 years.  Robbie currently works as a Flight Paramedic with The Air Care Team in Orlando, FL as well as serving as an adjunct EMS instructor at First Coast Technical College in St. Augustine, Fl.  These roles allow Robbie to stay up to date with current treatments and technology while helping him to provide a first-class learning experience for all students. In his spare-time, Robbie enjoys carving small animals from drift wood he finds while walking the beach.  

Pablo G. Auffant, Firefighter/CCEMT-P, Lead AHA Instructor

With over 22 years of high volume emergency services experience, Pablo is an avid enthusiast of anything in Emergency and Critical Care medicine. Pablo holds instructor disciplines in AHA and NAEMT courses. You can typically find Pablo riding an AMR Ambulance in the City of Orlando waiting to save a life. At AMR, Pablo has served many roles in his 15 yrs with the company from Field Supervision to Field Training and mentorship as well as Critical Care paramedicine, though he thoroughly has a passion serving the community on the streets where he is closest to those in need. In his spare time, Pablo enjoys riding his motorcycle all over the US collecting patches as he rides the roadways of our beautiful country.  In his spare time, Pablo enjoys going to coffee shops and reading his emotionally thought provoking poetry on open mic nights.

Jimmy Reyes, Firefighter/EMT-B,

Jimmy Reyes works for the City of Orlando Fire Department as a firefighter/EMT-B. He is currently assigned to Tower 1, which is a special operations unit that includes dive rescue. Additionally, Jimmy was one of the FIRST EMS professionals to respond to the Pulse Nightclub Shooting in 2016.  That horrific morning Jimmy selflessly put himself in harms way to help save the lives of many victims.  For the past six years Jimmy has worked for an offshore boat racing series as a rescue diver. In his spare-time Jimmy is working on a Sci-Fi novel featuring epic battles between unknown species across the galaxy.  He hopes to get it published by 2020.    

Justin Hartley, Firefighter, EMT-P, FP-C, AHA Instructor, Safety Diver, Survival Instructor

Justin Hartley currently works the streets as a Firefighter/Paramedic with St. Lucie County Fire Rescue.  Having worked 10+ years on Rescue 1 for the City of Orlando FD, Justin adds his unique experience and  skill set to our team.  Additionally, as one of the FIRST paramedics to respond to the Pulse Nightclub Shooting in 2016, Justin tirelessly and without hesitation saved the lives of many victims that night.  Moving forward, he has vowed to serve and educate those willing and able to bring good to this world.  In his spare time, Justin escapes this cruel world by joining in Live Action Role Playing (LARP'ing) games where he is afforded the opportunity to be a whimsical adolescent riding into battle on his hybrid Unicorn/Liger steed ready to save the world.

Michael Austin EMT-P FP-C

Critical Care Educator


Michael Austin is a critical care flight paramedic and professional educator. He received his AS
in EMS from Seminole State College and is currently working on his BAS in Management and
Supervision at Daytona State College. With over 20 years of public safety experience, Michael
has also served his community has a HazMat Battalion and EMS Officer. An avid web
programmer, Michael is responsible for creating and maintaining a website used by local and
State officials to track medical air assets during statewide emergency operations. He is also
working on several lectures which he hopes to bring to local and national medical conferences.
Michael currently serves as Treasurer for the Florida Aero Medical Association (FAMA).
Michael recently obtained his FAA Commercial Part 107 UAV (Drone) License which allows
him to use his drone for professional commercial applications. He currently resides in
Groveland and enjoys spending time with his daughter..
