Continuing Education

  • ENA developed and implemented the Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) for national and international dissemination as a means of identifying a standardized body of trauma nursing knowledge. The TNCC (Provider) is a two-day course designed to provide the learner with cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills. The purpose of TNCC is to present core-level knowledge, refine skills and build a firm foundation in trauma nursing. 

  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)

  • Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN)

  • Certified Transport Registered Nurse (CTRN)

  • Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C)

  • Critical Care Paramedic Certification (CCP-C)

  • The Rescue Company 1 will be hosting a PAPER/PENCIL test for the FP-C and CCP-C exam Two times a year

  • The National Component requires Paramedics to complete 30-hours of approved continuing education (CEU) each year.

  • This class is recommended for all students attending Air Medical Class, Critical care Transport, Prolong Field Care, Community Paramedic Program. This is a three day class 24 CEU’s.

  • The new Community Paramedicine Practitioner Course is a 160-hour course (40-hours online, 40-hours in person, and 80 clinical hours) that covers the typical patient care provided through these programs. The course will help students preparing to take the IBSC Community Paramedic certification exam.

  • Certified Tactical Paramedic (TP-C)

  • Certified Tactical Responder (TR-C)

  • Certified Community Paramedic (CP-C)
