TRC1 PUBLIC SAFETY RESCUE SWIMMER I
The Public Safety Rescue Swimmer I Course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for Rescue Swimmer Awareness & Operations Level for emergency responses to Surface and Surf water incidents. This can also be used during diving applications by offering a reasonable response to a distressed/panicked individual in the water. It will discuss the types of Rescue Swimmer equipment and techniques. The objective of this course is to train Awareness & Operations level rescue swimmers in the benefits, hazards, and proper procedures of rescue swimming in emergency response per NFPA 1006 & 1670.
